It rains all the time, and the sun never seems to shine, this town has nothing great, until Bella finds the Edward Cullen. Once Bella finds the Edward, she can't keep thinking about them. I really enjoyed seeing Bella and Edward going through the ups and downs of their relationship, the fact that Bella and Edward have a mutant baby together just freaks me out to no end and gives me nightmares that keep me up at night. For all of those who have read Speak, please take a look at Wintergirls! this is one of the best Young Adults books I have read.

The whole moMentum of the story got slowed right down in the third book, the last couple of chapters in book 3 "Mockingjay" had me shedding tears for sure but she finally gets her happiness. THEalways enjoy reading a book that forces the reader to think deeper than what is simply on paper, and Suzanne Collins has mastered that with these books. The story is advertised as YA, but that doesn't mean it's suitable only for young adults.

For those of you who are anti Harry Potter I would like to point out some of the saving qualities of these books. First, Potter has good, healthy relationships with adults. Second, Potter has relatives and a professor who do not like him. He shows that not everyone in the world will like you but that is not a requirement to having a good life. The books encourageimagination and creativity. There are other reasons but I think that J.K. Rowling has reintroduced reading for pleasure to our young adults and that is a feat indeed. J.K. Rowlings has a fantastic imagination. Harry Potter has been translated in over 67 languages, and the last four books were the Fastest selling books in history. I recommend everyone to read these books because they have something for everyone: fantasy and magic, action and adventure, monsters, romance and laughter, anyone at any age will enjoy this set. Review: "The Book Thief" is the story of Liesel in German girl living near Munich during the Nazi uprising. One walks through Germany in World War II, along with Liesel and her best friend. Liesel is a orphan because her mother and brotherfreeze to death. The other unusual thing about the Book Thief is its narrator, Death himself. Everyone in the whole world seems to adore this book, one that actually touched me, and even made me cry more than once. Considering that the book is set in Nazi Germany, one may expect to find a bit more brutality but its lighter, its at Young Adult reading level. This book has my highest recommendation if you like stories set during World War II, if you want to read about a girl with such strength and emotion that it'll tear your heart out.

A fun, quick read Young Adult adventure that adds as well as some history about Greek mythology, an awesome series, especially for fAirly competent, but possibly reluctant readers, in 8th grade and up. The main character Percy Jackson 12-year-old teenage boy who sudden finds out his world is not what he thought it was and his life is suddenly full of magic, danger, and adventure. He is also being attacked by monsters out of Greek mythology. His mother brings him to Camp half-blood where he learns that he is the son of a god and a hero who has to go on a quest. I liked the idea of the Greek gods being located in the western hemisphere. I thought it wasclever how Riordan incorporated Greek gods into the modern world in a very clever, fun way. Constant adventure and an easy to follow storyline keeps the attention of anyone and everyone that takes the time to sit down and open it, there is no excuse not to read this book because it is totally fabulous! Once you open it, it will keep you enticed all the way until the very back cover. It's not just a best book for young adults but for everyone, even us "adults" who still enjoy the kid inside us.

Her best friend Vee is obsessed with all the things Nora chooses to ignore-boys, shopping, and drama. The way the book was written was amazing. It never left you bored, or wanting to skip a few pages. I would defiantly recommend this book to girls mostly it's a romance book and it doesn't really seem to appeal to boys. Once you open the pages, you will not be able to put it down!

Review: The storyline is really great, Richelle Mead usesflashbacks of what has already occurred to keep you guessing and to help fill you in at the right moment without giving too much away. Vampire Academy tells the story of Rose to seventeen-year-old Dhampir girl, who is training to be a bodyguard for her Moroi (Moroi are mortal vampires and wield the earth's magic elements fire, water, Air, earth) best friend Vasilisa "Lissa", Dragomir. In the process of learning how to defeat Strigoi (evil undead vampires) in St. Vladimir's Academy, Rose finds herself caught in a forbidden romance with her handsome instructor, Dimitri Belikov, while having an unbreakable bond with Lissa. The story was an overall good read, the main character is independent and funny, to be honest it was better than twilight, while Bella is weak and dependent, Rose isthe exact opposite, independent and strong. I loved Watching the characters grow and develop especially Rose and Lissa. Throughout the series they mature so much and it is incredibly fascinating to watch. I will say that these books are for a more mature YA audience because there is mention of some more mature topics. I would definitely recommend this series. It's definitely my favorite vampire series!

The concept of nationally televised fights to the death has found many incarnations in the film. The Hunger Games, based on the unusually popular novel by Suzanne Collins, once again sets the sTAGe in a dystopian future where teenagers must battle for their lives. But despite its intriguing, albeit wearisome, several plaguing ImClone, since recycled eleMents eat away at the intensity, and perhaps more importantly, the believability. Meddling hosts tamper with the battleground, cheapening the competition with scientifically altered beasts and otherworldly creatures. Ridiculous costume designs feign futurism with few characters filling in the appropriate attitude. General predictability overlays every plot twist down to the inexcusably easy ways out of predicaMents. And an unhingedshaky cam hinders visibility even in moMents of calm. Diehard fans might be able to overlook these faults, but those unfamiliar with the source material will likely be all too aware of the numerous poor decisions that ultimately detract from the fun.

Once the terrible wars and uprisings were quelled and peace was again restored, the Capitol, complete holding power over the 12 districts of the country of Panem, instituted the Hunger Games as penance and an annual reminder of past transgressions. The televised extravaganza pits 24 youths from the districts against each other in a bloody battle to the death where only one can emerge victorious survivor. When her younger sister is chosen for the Games, brave 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence)volunteers to take her place and is sent to train at the Capitol along with fellow District Mellark Peet 12 teenager (Josh Hutcherson). With only four days to prepare for the two-week-long event, Katniss and Peeta must form an unlikely friendship if they hope to survive.

In an attempt to circumvent an R rating, The Hunger Games makes some detrimentally sacrificial choices. In the name of being artsy, the editing and camera movements are so blurred, jerky, intent on close-ups, and unfocused on the action that it's frequently difficult to sort out commotions. The frame is constantly moving away from violent material-if the theme of slaughtering 12-18 year old kids for sport is too mature for a PG-13, the filmmakers should have just gone for the stricter rating toenable them to pertinent show barbaric elements of the story. Or they should have found a manner to portray it effectively. Here, it looks like butterfingered dodging of the subject.

There's still entertainment to be found in the performances, even with the library manipulative nature of dying preteens, forced romance, desperate but unfulfilled totalitarian government overthrow, and cheap ultramodern trickery (such as genetically engineered wasps, technologically molded environment, medicine, or continually changing rules of warfare). The basic ideas could have been cleverer if not for the futurism spin. Surrounding all of the adventuresome science fiction aspects is still the evils of the media, theinsatiable and uncontrollable public consumption of repulsive spectacle, and the introspective nature of a movie theater audience observing human districts Watching the very same abandoning of morality. At least it's forged to be quite close to the novel.

First: keep a pAir of nail clippers in your wrestling bag. The tournaMents are long enough already, and don't need to get held up by refs sending kids to the side to get their nails clipped before the first match.

Second: avoid bleacher butt by keeping one pillow in the wrestling bag for every butt that's going to be in thosebleachers "all day. These can double as a cushy place for your head if you find somewhere to take a snooze. (Just don't sleep through to match!) Also, get up and move around--this keeps the blood moving and helps to stave off that bleacher pain.

Third: put your name on all of your wrestling equipMent. There's so much floating around, you don't need to risk losing yours. We used to find shoes and headgear all the time beneath the bleachers ".

Fourth: bring healthy, energy snacks. Most tournaments sell junk Food, and you hardly want to encourage surges and drops of energy during the day, which is what injections of sugar do for you. And you don't want to feel lethargic because of greasy burgers and fries.

This is especially important forhigh school wrestlers who are trying to Watch their weight. Roller-coast blood sugar levels cause hunger and can lead to weight gain.

Coyotes respond to your call out of hunger, territorial issues, social issues or curiosity. I believe that most of your responses will be from hunger and territorial issues.

The majority of all coyotes are called in using prey distress sounds. The good old fashioned rabbit-in-distress sound has probably been used to call in more coyotes than all the others combined. I don't believe this proven technique will be replaced any time soon.

In just the last few years, using coyote howling sounds like have become more popular. I'm a big fan of using coyote sounds for calling but, I think it's best for beginners to start out with some simple distresscalling and learn the basics. It can get a little tricky when you're trying to talk to the coyote in its own language.

Hand Calls

There are two kinds of hand calls: reed and reed closed open An important difference between the two is that the closed reed type will tend to freeze up more quickly in cold weather. The closed reed might also be a little easier for a beginner to use, but it will usually limit the variety of sounds that can be produced. An open reed call is more flexible, allowing a variety of sounds from prey distress to coyote vocalizations. Either type will get the Job done.

Hand calls are easy to carry, reliable and inexpensive. One disadvanTAGe is that you are limited to the variety of sounds, although the number of sounds that a caller can produce skilledfrom just one hand call is amazing. Of course this takes a lot of practice which will more than likely drive your family crazy.

Learning how to use a mouth blown rabbit-in-distress call is fAirly simple. Almost any of the calls on today's market will work just fine. I recomMend that you purchase at least a couple of different distress calls. This will provide you some variety. You'll find that just switching your calls up on a stand just might be what's needed to hear that coyote.

I could go into detail on how to blow the call but there are so many great coyote hunting videos out there right now that I recomMend that you purchase a few and just sit back and Watch them. There is nothing better than seeing and hearing the real thing in action.

Electronic Calls

If youever want to start a good arguMent among coyote hunters just bring up the subject of guns or electronic calls. Not only will you fire up the diehard hand callers you'll get plenty of discussion on which e-call is the best.

There are some definite advanTAGes of using an electronic call; the major advanTAGe is being able to move the sound away from you. As I mentioned earlier, when you start calling, you put the Coyotes on full alert. Its goal now is to find the source of the sound.

If you're using a hand call, the source of the sound is you know, when the coyote comes in its eyes, ears and nose will be focused on you. This can lead to problems.

Another advantage of the electronic call is the ability to produce a variety of sounds. Some hold hundreds of electronic callssounds. With an electronic caller you can instantly become an expert caller. At least you'll be able to make some good sounds. Hand calls require some practice and some people just have a hard time producing a good sound.

However, electronic calls can be quite expensive, heavy, and require batteries. Occasionally there will be problems. I would recommend that you practice and become proficient using hand calls just in case you find yourself out in the field with dead batteries.

As you can see there are advantages and disadvantages to both types of calls. I might go out without my electronic call but, I'll never go out without some hand calls.

The Hunger Games Series is set in the post-apocalyptic Panem. In it lays 12 districts and the city of Capitol, which holds control over Panem. Annually, an event called the Hunger Games is held by the Capitol to commemorate the rebellion set by the 12 districts against them before. Two particiPants, called the 'tributes', from 12-18 years old are chosen from each district to join the Hunger Games where they will kill each other off until one remains. This televised event is a punishMent set by the Capitol to the 12 districts.

The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games Series begins in the coal mining district of Panem, District 12. The story starts with the introduction of Katniss Everdeen, a girl from a poor family who illegally hunts for Food to feed her family. During the Reaping, the event where tributes are chosen from each district, a boy from a medium-class family, Peeta Mellark, and Katniss' sister Primrose, were chosen. Katniss volunteered herself to save her sister. Katniss and Peeta, guided with their Mentor, embarked on the dangerous competition.

Catching Fire
Continuing with the Hunger Games Series, Peeta and Katniss won together on 74th Hunger Games. The two went back home where President Snow visited Katniss telling her he's with her for making the suicide attempt with Peeta during the end of the game. The act allowed both of them to win and caused rebellion talks. Snow threatened to kill her family unless she proves to the public that the act is only because of her love for Peeta. Peeta and Katniss went on a victory tour across Panem where they visited the districts and discovered how serious Snow is against any plan of rebellion.

Returning home, an announceMent was made for the Quarter Quell where 24 champions from previous games will compete again to kill each other. Katniss and Peeta competed in the games. By teaming up with other contenders, Katniss discovered how the arena works and destroyed it. Katniss was rescued by the rebels, informed of the existence of District 13 where she is being transported, learned about the Capitol's capture of Peeta and the total destruction of her home, District 12.

Mockingjay
As 'Mockingjay', the symbol of rebellion against the Capitol, Katniss was given the right to kill Snow. District 13 made attacks to the Capitol rescuing Peeta and others successfully. Brainwashed Peeta came back hating and trying to kill Katniss. An assault was made to Capitol and Snow was captured. Many people died during the assault, including Prim, Katniss' sister who's part of the rebel medical team. Katniss killed District 13's President Coin. Snow was killed during a riot. Katniss and Peeta, who recovered from the brainwash, returned to live in the reconstructed District 12. The Hunger Games Series ends with an epilogue by Katniss 15 years after the war, married to Peeta with two children.
