Pawn Stars is a hit reality show on the History Channel that crosses "Antiques Roadshow" with "American Choppers." It takes place at the Gold & Silver Pawnshop in Las Vegas, Nevada. Open since 1988, Rick and his family, Corey "Big Hoss" and Richard "The Old Man" have been running the business 24 hours a day.

Customers bring in just about everything from antiques, art, guns, motorcycles, boats, gold, and even a weather balloon, to pawn or to sell. The show has been popular because of its docuMentary nature, the depiction of tension between the cast members, and the interaction between them and their customers.
